Grab a hoop to get your core (and full body!) moving and grooving!
To determine your hoop size, a basic starting point is finding the distance from your belly button to the floor. If you are curvy or like a slower, easier speed, add and inch or two. If you are petite/athletic or if you are looking for a faster, more challenging speed, then subtract an inch or two. This size structure is great for learning waist hooping Learning waist hooping or even building muscle memory for core hooping tricks and hoop dance in the body rocker style!
Handmade Fitness hoops weigh approximately 2 pounds. It’s important to note that if you are in the market for a heavier hoop in the 5-10 pound range, know that hoops of that weight often have the potential to cause more harm than good. Our Fitness weighted hoops are just as easy to use, and they still offer a level of cardio workout that gives you an excellent aerobic addition to your exercise routine. They are also the easiest to learn waist hooping, and we typically start beginners off with these. Made from a durable polyethylene 200 PSI 3/4” PE (note that the manufacturer changed the formula of the 160 psi PE, so it’s no longer as heavy, so we switched to the 200 psi!)
Danceweight hoops are slightly lighter in weight, about 1 pound depending on size. but they are more versatile for learning some beginner core hooping tricks and Hoop Dance. Made from 100 PSI 3/4” PE
7/8” HDPE is the lightest of all three options here. It’s typically suggested for intermediate body hoopers who are looking to “bridge the gap” between the heavier PE hoops and the more advanced 3/4” Polypro or HDPE.

All types are collapsible and will include instructions for opening your hoop. PE hoops are made in the Twist-down Collapsible style, and the 7/8” HDPE will come with a single push button to connect your hoop.
