This Tubing size is a great way to “Bridge the Gap” between the Beginner series PE hoops and the lighter-weight Polypro and HDPE dance hoops. It’s perfect for body hooping tricks, it’s a dream to flow with as you are developing your skill to tie tricks together and helps you maintain the development of your muscle memory for effortless hooping. It’s also not too heavy so you can also utilize this type for working on some starter hand tricks. It can be said that it is the most versatile tubing for “both on and off body hooping”.

For choosing an ideal size, you could use the “toes to waist” guideline for basic waist hooping, but go an inch or two smaller if you are already skilled with waist hooping.

Remember this tubing is not as heavy as the Fitness weight or Danceweight hoop types. It may be harder to learn to waist hoop with the 7/8” tubing. It’s not impossible, but if you are up for the challenge it may be a fine option for you!
